TreatmentIndicated for the treatment of patients with thrombocythemia, secondary to myeloproliferative neoplasms, to reduce the elevated platelet count and the risk of thrombosis and to ameliorate associated symptoms including thrombo-hemorrhagic events.
Side EffectsHeadache, diarrhea, weakness, nausea, gas, loss of appetite, and dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor immediately.
Method of UseTake this medication by mouth with or without food, usually 2 or 4 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
