TreatmentHeptral 400mg Tablet is used in the treatment of liver disease. It is used in liver condition associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis).
Side EffectsNausea, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Dizziness, Sweating.
Method of UseTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Heptral 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How WorksHeptral 400mg Tablet protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.

- Do not take antacids that contain aluminum while you are taking the Heptral. This is because antacids decrease the amount of Heptral absorbed by the body.
