TreatmentSzetalo 10mg Tablet is used in the treatment of depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobia and post traumatic stress disorder.

Method of UseTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Szetalo 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How WorksSzetalo 10mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms in depression and relieves symptoms of panic and obsessive disorders.

- It can take 2-3 weeks for Szetalo to start working.
- Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause a stomach upset, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance.
- If your doctor asks you to stop Szetalo, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks.
- Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Szetalo, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness.
